Clarence Area Economic Development Group:
Clarence Area Economic Development Group owns 12 acres within the Clarence Industrial Park available for sale. The site is located on U.S. Route 30 that is traveled by 3,200 cars daily. The site is located approximately 30 miles east of the Cedar Rapids metropolitan area and 20 miles north of Interstate 80. The site has water, sewer, electrical and natural gas available. Union Pacific Railroad runs the north border of the property, and they would consider adding a railroad spur to the property. The site has fiber-optic availability.

Local incentives for qualified projects may be considered.

Durant Development CorporationDurant Development Corporation:
The Durant Development Corporation has approximately 10 acres of fully developed industrial property.  The site is located approximately 20 miles west of the Quad Cities' metropolitan area and is 2 miles south of the Interstate 80 - Exit 277.  Utility installations include street, water, sewer, electric and natural gas.  Iowa Interstate Railroad and a private rail spur owned by Norfolk Iron and Metal are located adjacent to the site.  An optical communication line also borders the property.  Local incentives for qualified projects may be considered.

Lowden Economic Development Corporation
Lowden Economic Development was formed to promote Lowden as a community that continues to support an active Main Street and provide desirable housing.  Our latest project is pursuing the reopening of a local restaurant on Main Street.  LEDCO also recently purchased an empty lot on Main Street hoping to resell the property for a small business venture.  LEDCO provides advertising and covers some opening expenses for new, qualified businesses.  We strive to maintain a current and informative web page focusing on our thriving community and qualtiy small town living.

Mechanicsville Economic Development Company:
The Mechanicsville Economic Development Company established over 50 years ago to support the development of City of Mechanicsville. Over the course of their inception, they have purchased land for a new North Cedar elementary facility with the assistance of a small grant by CCEDCO. Currently, the group is working on the five-acre multiplex sports complex to improve the quality of life for the citizens of the County and Mechanicsville residents.

Stanwood Economic Development CompanyStanwood Economic Development Company (STEDCO):
STEDCO was established in 1995 to assist with the development of the City of Stanwood.  In 1996, STEDCO purchased 43 acres to develop the development of the Tenley Industrial Park located on the east edge of the city.  Currently, businesses in the park are River Valley COOP, North Cedar Recycling, and New Horizons Farm Service and E&N Specialties.  Also in 1996, STEDCO purchased four-acres located on Kohlhase Street that was developed into three condominiums and a single-family house. STEDCO has been instrumental in the development of residential housing, in 2011; land was procured to create an additional housing development with lots available for sale.

Tipton Economic Development CorporationTipton Economic Development Corporation (TEDCO):
TEDCO is a non-profit organization focused on improving the overall business climate in Tipton by promoting economic growth and prosperity within the community. The TEDCO Board of Directors is comprised of 14 volunteer members who coordinate with the City of Tipton and other local organizations to promote and support community based economic development initiatives.

TEDCO owns the 85 acre Tipton Business Park as well as options on an adjoining 158 acres that is available for large development projects. The Tipton Business Park was the first industrial site in the State of Iowa to receive “Shovel Ready Iowa” certification.
